Some Dutch perspectives on familiar European Union issues were revealed when the lead candidates of political parties in the Netherlands held their first European Parliament election debate, in Brussels on Tuesday (8 April). But more topical issues – notably Ukraine, and trade negotiations with the US – also featured prominently.
